Blowing the dust off...

Coughing!! It's been way too long since I have been here!!! A ton of things have gone on in my life this year and our wedding will probably have to be postponed a few months due to the economy and we are actually moving the venue to my hometown of Memphis, TN due to my dad coming out of remission.  I am still going with the brunch themed wedding because I think it's just so darned chic.  We are probably looking at a date in early March on the 5th or perhaps 12th.

Next weekend I will be on the great venue search. I think I have narrowed it down to one, so here it is in all of it's glory, very cute, very reasonably priced and well near trolley tracks (pix will be amazing!!) and the river!!!  Here is the website: No. 2 Vance.  Best part about them is if we book before the 10th of October we will receive a 10 % discount because they are a new venue.  Here are a few pictures:

And the trolley line is outside which would make a wonderful entrance and exit for us if we time it properly!!!!

Due to me having to change my date, I will no longer be able to use the wonderfully talented Fola Adewole (LOVE HER!!)  But I am signed on with a wonderful photographer with whom I have worked with quite a few times: Krystal Alayne.  Here are a few of her pictures from my very own events no doubt :o):

In the words of a certain very loved fellow-blogger:
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I'm so very glad you're back. I love your writing and your crafts - even when they're not about your own wedding. You were missed.

Glad to hear your Dad's doing better.

LOL!!!!!!!! I am back even though the stalker may reappear lol!!!! My dad's cancer has actually spread so he isn't doing so well at the moment. I am taking a huge chance having the wedding a bit later, but I have to pay for it so as usual cash rules everything around me.
